Like any girl I do love a little pampering in my life, and when Cathy Martin got in touch with me to “Save The Date” for the Northern Irish launch of Liz Dwyer’s “Beauty Bootcamp” I couldn't wait to attend!
For anyone not familiar with Liz Dwyer, she is one of Ireland’s leading Beauty Editors, having worked for such publications as IMAGE Magazine, VIP, The Irish Times and television shows like Expose and Off The Rails. Her experience is second to none and it’s with this encyclopedic knowledge that she created “Beauty Bootcamp”, designed to teach regular women how to apply their make up like a pro, style their hair like a red-carpet regular and impart all the insider secrets Liz has learned throughout her career!

Liz explains: “Inspired by transformation of rather plain looking models into gorgeous vixens through my work over the past decade as a Beauty Editor, I felt if every woman could gain an insight into the make-up and hair tricks and techniques I see being used backstage, we'd all be on a lot more equal footing when it comes to looking gorgeous. So I rounded up some of the best hair and make-up people in the business and together we created Beauty Bootcamp.”

The Bootcamp has been running in Dublin since 2007 and I was really pleased to hear that it was finally coming north of the border too! At the exclusive NI Press Launch we not only had the opportunity to see round Beauty Bootcamp’s NI headquarters located in PLACE 7-9 Lower Garfield Street, Belfast but we also had the chance to chat with Liz too about all things beauty related!
I was so impressed with Liz’s vast product knowledge and her passion for demystifying the cosmetics industry, her whole ethos is to make beauty inclusive for all, and helping all women achieve the skills to create their own, no fuss fabulous make up looks at home!

Beauty Bootcamp is an exclusive one-day interactive course that teaches you essential hair and make-up skills.
