My readers who follow me on Twitter or Instagram will have spotted me sharing some of my cocktail photos and as Valentine's approaches I'm very excited to share with you some seriously yummy Valentine's cocktails! Specially created by Smirnoff, and perfect for romancing that special someone in your life!
These fun, flirty cocktails can be enjoyed on their own or blended together to create the ultimate couples drink! Whether you have your own favourite flavours or simply can’t decide what to go for, why not try creating these simple tasty recipes, which are sure to impress and help you celebrate the night in delicious style! Two become one: The "Yours and Mine" cocktails!
Yours and Mine:
Yours
Ingredients:
•
25ml Smirnoff No.21
•
75ml Lemonade
•
Dash of Angosturra Bitters
Mine
Ingredients:
•
25ml Smirnoff No.21
•
75ml Apple-Juice
•
Dash of Elderflower Cordial
Method:
Mixed together the Yours & Mine cocktails create the tempting Apple-Bite.
Sugar & Spice:
Sugar
Ingredients:
•
25ml Smirnoff
•
75ml Ginger ale
•
4 raspberries
•
2 wedges of lime
Method:
Muddle the raspberries and lime together in the bottom of a rocks glass before filling with Ice, Smirnoff and Ginger ale
Spice
Ingredients:
•
25ml Smirnoff
•
75ml Apple juice
•
Pinch of cinnamon
Method:
Build the Smirnoff and Apple Juice in a highball glass with ice, sprinkle a small pinch of cinnamon on the top and stir well
Mr & Mrs:
Mr
Ingredients:
•
25ml Smirnoff
•
10ml sugar syrup
•
10ml lemon juice
•
2 dashes bitters
Method:
Shake all the ingredients together and strain over an ice filled rocks glass
Mrs
Ingredients:
•
25ml Smirnoff
•
75ml Champagne (or lemonade for a lower abv version)
•
10ml Limonchello
Method:
Pour all the ingredients into a champagne flute, or highball with Lemonade and mix together.
The Sugar & Spice, Mr & Mrs and Yours & Mine cocktails can be enjoyed on their own or mixed together to create one delicious drink that couples can share.
